About Aleksandra 

After finishing elementary school of music in Subotica (Serbia), playing accordion, Aleksandra attended music high school (also in Subotica), studying accordion under the tutelage of professor Lukić Aleksandar, and simultaneously attending her first vocal classes with professor Emilia Barath in 2007. Following her high school graduation, she enrolled in the department of Solo Singing at the Faculty of Music Art, University of Belgrade, under the tutelage of professor Aneta Ilić in 2011. In 2015, Aleksandra started her MA studies in the department of Solo Singing at the Faculty of Music Art, Belgrade, under the tutelage of professor Aneta Ilić, and in 2017, she finished her MA studies in cooperation with Operosa Studio. In 2018 she started her MA Music Performance as a singer at Hochschule der Künste Bern, under the tutelage of professor Christian Hilz, and currently completing her MA Specialized Classical, Contemporary Music - Création musicale at the same institution HKB.

During her studies, Aleksandra won prizes in various competitions, like the International Munot Opera competition, Switzerland (2019), where was selected for Pamina’s role for a new production of  W. A. Mozart „ Die Zauberflöte“. In previous years, she won the 1st prize at the IV International master class competition at Narni, Italia (2014), as well as the special prize Alla migliore voce lirica in the same competition, the 1st prize at the international competition Bruna Spieler in Herceg Novi, Montenegro (2014), the 1st prize at Lazar Jovanović Belgrade, Serbia (2014), the 1st prize Nikola Cvejić in Ruma, Serbia (2013), and the special prize for the best Interpretation in the same competition. Aleksandra was a recipient of the Jelena Mihajlović fund as the most promising young singer at the Faculty of Musical Arts 2012/2013.

Aleksandra took part in many concerts, festivals, and opera productions. Her repertoire includes works from the Baroque to modern compositions of the 21 st century, and she also participated in many chamber ensembles. She is a member of the duo Jagodić/Stanković with accordion player A. Jagodić, in which they actively perform improvised music.

She worked with baritone Michel Volle, tenor Topi Lehtipuu, soprano Anais Lee, baritone Istvan Andrejcsik, maestro Jakob Hultberg, maestro Predrag Gosta, director Gianni Santucci, and maestro Eraldo Salmieri, among others.
